Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This policy explains how Aki Fukaku, an Australian software business (“we”, “us”), handles personal information when you visit akifukaku.com, when you pay for one of our products, and when you contact us. Each of our apps and services also has its own privacy policy describing the information handled inside that product — see the Legal Center. Where a product policy covers a matter, it applies to that product.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
1. Information we handle
- Website visits. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
- Payments. When you buy something on one of our websites, Stripe collects your payment details. We receive only what we need to deliver and account for the purchase: your name and email address, billing country, the product and amount, the date, the order and customer reference, and limited card information (such as card brand and last four digits). We never receive your full card number or security code. For in-app purchases, Apple or Google share with us only the purchase and subscription status.
- Support. If you email us or use a support form, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Account tools on this site. Some apps use pages on this site to reset a password or delete an account. Those pages handle the information described in that app's privacy policy.
2. Why we use it
- To deliver what you paid for, send receipts and manage subscriptions (performing our contract with you).
- To keep accounting and tax records, and handle refunds and disputes (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and keep our services secure (legitimate interests).
- To answer your questions and requests (legitimate interests and performing our contract).
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed:
- Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention) — United States, Ireland and other Stripe locations.
- Apple and Google (in-app purchases) — United States.
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security) — global data centres.
- Our email and support tools — to send receipts and answer you.
- Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires, for example for tax.
These providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, and use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
4. How long we keep it
We keep transaction records for as long as Australian tax and accounting law requires (generally five years), then delete them. Support correspondence is kept while it is needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Website logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or receive a copy of it in a portable format, as the law where you live allows. Email [email protected]with the subject “Privacy”. We reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. We keep information we are legally required to keep (such as transaction records) even if you ask us to delete it, and we will tell you when that applies.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections, limit who can access personal information, and rely on providers with established security programmes. No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
7. Children
Purchases must be made or approved by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian; if you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the date above.
9. Contact and complaints
Aki Fukaku, Australia — [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or to the data protection authority where you live.
